About
Kristen Lockhart, LCSW-S
Kristen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Green Lotus Wellness. She earned her Master’s degree from University of Texas at Austin and is also a Texas Behavioral Executive Council approved Supervisor. As a San Antonio native and former Austin and Hill Country resident, she feels deeply connected to the Central Texas community and is honored to support the healing journeys of those who call it home.
Kristen has served a diverse range of clients, including adolescents in the juvenile justice system, military veterans, individuals in the throws of addiction and those in recovery, aging adults, hospice patients and their caregivers, and those navigating significant grief and loss.
Today, her passion and expertise lie in supporting individuals with PTSD and C-PTSD, neurodivergent individuals (particularly adult ADHD and Autism), the LGBTQ+ community, couples, and women facing the unique challenges of balancing motherhood and their own identities.
Through evidence-based practices like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) she helps clients heal from trauma, embrace and celebrate their core selves, create healthy connection, and move toward wholeness.
Kristen’s approach is holistic, mind-body attuned, attachment informed, and rooted in compassionate human connection. She believes therapy is not about ‘fixing you— it’s about attunement and connection, remaining curious without judgment, and supporting you in your journey to thrive.

“I am a proud member of Hawks Collective in San Antonio, Texas but work with clients all over Texas, virtually and in person.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and two dogs, practicing yoga, hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time in nature. These practices help me stay grounded and connected— values I bring into the therapy space as well.
I also enjoy watching hockey and football (Hook ‘Em!), live music, comedy, and exploring new adventures. I recently discovered my love for skydiving, which reminds me of the courage it takes my clients to step into the vulnerable space of the therapy room.
I bring this same sense of balance and connection into my work with clients, holding space for both the heaviness of healing and the hope of transformation.
I’m an aspiring HOPE dealer.” -Kristen
